On my final night’s stay in Merimbula, I was cooking a BBQ and getting ready to settle in for the night when I noticed thick clouds rolling through and lightning off in the distance. Being presented with a unique opportunity I decided to quickly finish cooking and head to the beach to try get a better vantage point. A few hours passed and as the sun set and the light show began. I was lucky enough to capture this amazing strike of lightening before it bucketed down with rain.
