Apostles Glow

Recently I have been spending a lot of time at work, so I decided to get away with my fiance and enjoy the sites. I have been trying to shoot the 12 Apostles for some years now with very little luck. This time however the clouds were in position and there was a crack in the horizon. As the sun got lower and peered from behind the clouds the scene started to light up. The crazy winds and sea spray were being pushed against the Apostles, it acted like a smoke machine for the light to bounce off giving them an orange glow. I’m so glad to have finally captured a special moment here. There is just something about this place that keeps drawing me back. This has to be one of my favourite photos to date.
