Starting out with an interest in photography as a teenager, Adrian decided to take up black and white film photography as a subject in high school in 2006. The classes focused on the fundamentals of how a camera works, composition, the development of photographs manually and working in a darkroom.
After the completion of school, Adrian found himself experimenting on a little 5 megapixel point and shoot. His passion grew and soon found that his camera needed an upgrade. After working for a few years and saving his money he was soon able to afford some new equipment.
Since 2013 Adrian has been on a creative pursuit to capture Australia’s natural beauty and landscapes. From waterfalls, to mountains, city’s and oceans. With plenty of overseas travel yet to be undertaken, there are plenty of exciting things that are yet to be discovered.
In a relatively short amount of time from 2013 until now, Adrian already has 13 international award winning photographs in his landscape photography portfolio. Being recognized internationally for his work has been a great achievement and reinforces the quality of his work.
To be a landscape photographer it takes true passion, dedication, countless visits to the same location – sometimes only accessible a couple of times a year, early starts, long nights, fine attention to detail and as many know, a stroke of luck to be able to capture something truly unique. However, it is a challenge that Adrian loves and continues to pursue.
